Türk Prysmian Kablo Among Energy Efficiency Champions in Industry

Standing out with its innovative solutions in the energy and telecommunications cables sector, Türk Prysmian Kablo achieved significant success in the "Industrial and Exporting Companies with the Highest Expenditure on Energy Efficiency and Management" (Turkey EN-VERİM 100) research, held for the first time this year, and ranked 21st. The research project was shaped based on responses to a survey sent to the top 1000 exporting companies in the export ranking and the top 500 companies of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry. The survey questions were prepared with the suggestions and contributions of the Energy Efficiency and Environment Department of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and the Energy Efficiency and Management Association (EYODER). 

Results are also shared on the global stage 

While the research results are shared with the world's thought leaders and international press on the global stage, it is aimed to serve as a reference for companies on energy efficiency and management. The ranking was created under the following headings: Companies with the highest expenditure on energy efficiency, companies with the highest expenditure on energy management, companies with the highest expenditure on energy audits, companies with the highest employment in energy management, companies with the highest female employment in energy management, and companies with the highest expenditure on training within the scope of energy management. 

"We will increase the resources we allocate for energy efficiency" 

Regarding their success in the Turkey EN-VERİM 100 research, Prysmian Turkey CEO Daniele Mazzarella said, "With our consistent and dedicated efforts in the field of energy efficiency and sustainability, we serve not only our company but also the transformation of Turkish industry. We are proud to be ranked 21st in the research, where hundreds of companies competed, and many parameters were taken into account. In 2023, we allocated 12.5 million TL for energy efficiency. We will increase this resource to much higher figures in the coming years. We will continue to increase our efforts on energy efficiency for a green and sustainable future."
