Türk Prysmian Kablo holds its 2023 Authorized Dealers Meeting

The 2023 Authorized Dealers Meeting of Türk Prysmian Kablo, the leading company of the Turkish cable industry, was held in Cyprus between 10-12 November. While Türk Prysmian Kablo's sustainability vision was discussed at the meeting, the sustainability efforts carried out during the year were evaluated with the participation of all dealers.

Making a difference with its innovative steps in the energy and telecommunication cables industry, Türk Prysmian Kablo held its 2023 Authorized Dealers Meeting in Cyprus between 10-12 November 2023. Sustainable was the main theme of the meeting, where A-Team Authorized Dealers and senior managers of the company made their presentations. Türk Prysmian Kablo's sustainability vision and targets were also emphasized at the meeting, where the 9 months of 2023 were evaluated and the targets for 2024 were discussed.

“We will move forward with firm steps towards new goals”

Türk Prysmian Kablo CEO Ülkü Özcan, who started her speech by thanking the Türk Prysmian Kablo A-Team Authorized Dealers, stated that they left behind a difficult period in the sector due to the impact of the macroeconomic and geopolitical developments in the world in the first 9 months of 2023. Ülkü Özcan said, “We are successfully leaving a difficult period behind with the high performance and contributions of our valuable business partners by correctly managing the uncertainties in economic indicators on a global scale and in our country. Now, a new era awaits us in which we will take firmer steps towards new goals.”

Stating that Türk Prysmian Kablo will continue to take steps that will activate the entire ecosystem it is involved in, in line with its sustainability vision, Özcan said: “As Türk Prysmian Kablo, we continue our leading role in the sector with our sustainability and digitalization investments that we focus on. In line with our group's vision of 'Connecting the MEART Region to a Sustainable Future', we carry out our sustainability activities, which we consider on 3 main axes as climate, innovation, and social, together with all our stakeholders. In line with our vision in this field in 2023 and beyond, we will continue to advance our goals and contribute to the Turkish economy together with our A-Team Authorized Dealers, one of our most important business partners, with the strength we receive from being a global company."

The importance of sustainability goals was emphasized

During her speech titled "Prysmian Group: Towards a Sustainable Future", Cinzia Farisè, CEO of Prysmian Group MEART Region, underlined that they were taking firm steps towards the sustainability goals determined in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and touched upon the strategy adopted by the group until 2027.

During his speech titled "Eco Cable and Carbon Zero Target", Prysmian Group MEART Region Marketing and Communications Director Tamer Yavuztürk underlined that they calculated the carbon emissions at all stages of the Authorized Dealers Meeting and that the meeting was a zero carbon meeting because the sustainability efforts carried out by the dealers throughout the year were greater than the carbon emissions generated.

Türk Prysmian Kablo Domestic Sales Director Etem Bakaç emphasized the effects of difficult economic conditions at the global level during his presentation titled "A-Team Performance Evaluation". During his speech, Bakaç said, “We keep our performance high under all circumstances by focusing on efficiency and productivity, regardless of internal and external factors.

In line with our common goals, we carry out sustainable and efficient work with our A-Team Authorized Dealers and successfully leave all difficulties behind.” At the end of the meeting, awards were presented to A-Team Authorized Dealers who completed the previous year with successful results in certain categories.
