Chief Executive Officer Appointment at Prysmian Türkiye

Chief Executive Officer appointed at the Turkish operations of Prysmian, the global market leader for energy and telecom cables. Daniele Mazzarella, CFO Prysmian South Europe has been appointed as CEO Prysmian Türkiye. After 24 years working for Prysmian, Daniele Mazzarella will take over as Chief Executive Officer of Prysmian Türkiye starting in September.

Operating in more than 50 countries with around 30,000 employees, Prysmian appointed Daniele Mazzarella as CEO Türkiye. Passionate about working with diverse teams with a commitment to the culture of inclusion, the experienced leader will continue to focus on further improving Prysmian’s global presence as a leader leveraging on the strong Turkish operations and market position.

In his new role, Daniele Mazzarella aims to further consolidate the leading position of Prysmian Türkiye, which offers a very broad range of products.

Daniele Mazzarella graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Italy in 1996 and began his professional career in 1997 as a controller in the specialty steel division of the Thyssen Krupp Group. He joined Pirelli Cables in Germany as Senior Controller in 2000, and after 2 years there, moved to HQs as Group Industrial and Logistics Controller. In 2007, he became CFO of Prysmian Finland, then CFO of Prysmian North America in 2011 and CFO of Prysmian South Europe in 2018. Having held various positions in different countries across Prysmian and before throughout his 27-years career, Daniele Mazzarella will take over and continue his successful career as CEO of Prysmian Türkiye starting in September.
