Türk Prysmian Kablo is upgrading all CPR Class E energy cables to high-performance CPR Cca class for fire safety. These new CPR Cca class cables limit flame spread and smoke generation, helping extend evacuation time and improve intervention conditions during a fire.
At its R&D Center in Mudanya, Türk Prysmian Kablo has developed CPR (Construction Products Regulation) Cca class energy cables to enhance building fire safety. The company now offers exclusively high fire-performance Cca class solutions for energy cables. Cca class cables are tested according to EN 50399 standards for flame propagation, smoke density, and gas emission. Low smoke and corrosive gas production improve both evacuation and intervention efficiency during fires.
