A new generation of socially responsible leaders at Prysmian Group
Türk Prysmian Kablo organized a special event for the International Women's Day.
There was great interest in the event named "Women at Prysmian", where new business models that leverage diversity and inclusion were discussed.
Worldwide energy and telecommunications cables industry leader Prysmian Group's Turkey operation Türk Prysmian Kablo hosted many important names in its online event "Women at Prysmian", also drewing attention to the importance of sustainable solutions for today's and tomorrow's world. On the same day, Türk Prysmian Kablo organized another online event with the exclusive participation of all Prysmian women employees, once again underlying the importance of being an inclusive team through a dedicated and branded teamwork activity, under the umbrella of Prysmian Group ‘Side by Side’ Project, launched in 2016, which promotes and translate Diversity & Inclusion into reality at all latitudes in the world.
The importance of the new sustainability approach for today's and tomorrow's world was underlined.
The event was moderated by Turkish Prysmian Kablo CEO Cinzia Farisè; participants to the first session - a round table to discuss how to create a better world through business - were all Prysmian Group women involved at Board as well as management level: Maria Elena Cappello, Prysmian Group, Saipem, Telecom Italia, Luminor Bank Board Member, Mine Ayhan, Türk Prysmian Board Member and Chair of Generali Turkey, Gamze Keçeci,Türk Prysmian Strategic Metal Purchasing Chief. Türk Prysmian Kablo, who signed numerous achievements all over Turkey, took part in "Turkey's 50 Most Powerful Women CEO" research in cooperation with Capital and Economist magazines. Turk Prysmian's CEO Cinzia Farisè also took 14th place and was one of Turkey's most powerful female CEO in the list prepared according to the performance of the companies represented by women top executives.
