Support from Türk Prysmian Kablo for the education of children in need

Taking action to support the education of students in this difficult period, Türk Prysmian Kablo decided to support children in need through ÇYDD, the Association for Supporting Contemporary Life.

Worldwide energy and telecommunication cables industry leader Prysmian Group's Turkey operation Türk Prysmian Kablo, got together with the Association for Supporting Contemporary Life. Taking action to meet the computer needs of students in need during the distance education process, Türk Prysmian Kablo decided to support  ÇYDD, the pioneer of diversity and inclusion.

“Linking Turkey to a sustainable Future” 

Underlining their happiness for their support to the education process, Türk Prysmian Kablo’s CEO Cinzia Farisè expressed her thoughts as follows “This process we go through affects us deeply, regardless of our age. It is sad for all of us that our children are separated from their schools and friends, but health comes first. In this content, the pandemic risks to exclude from education the poorest, the ones that cannot have access to e-learning. Which is why we decided to support concretely the fundamental and universal right of education of children in the name of a more sustainable world. We decided to do it through ÇYDD, the Association for Supporting Contemporary Life, which helps girls from all over Turkey to receive education, while promoting gender equality.”

Cinzia Farisè pointed out that they have touched the lives of many children in need with their voluntary work they carried our for their project ‘Happiness Bank’ for the last 3 years within the scope of their social responsibility activities and said: “The basis of sustainability is to protect the benefit of the entire community. As a company, we interpret the social benefit criterion, which is the backbone of sustainability, with a social responsibility awareness, and work for a better world and future with the projects we implement in this regard. We are proud of working for the welfare of our society in every field from education to basic needs, from health to the environment.”
