First 500 kV Turnkey EHV Project As part of the project,

Türk Prysmian Kablo will supply cables and accessories for a 500 kV EHV (Extra High Voltage) cable connection, and will also provide supervision, installation, and on‑site testing services. The cables will be manufactured by Prysmian China, while the EGS 550 and GMS 550 accessories will be provided by Prysmian Italy. In addition, PD Monitoring and DTS systems produced by EOSS S.r.l. will be integrated into the project, ensuring high performance and reliability standards.

Through this project, Türk Prysmian Kablo will implement its first turnkey EHV solution at the 500 kV level, further enhancing its expertise in the international high‑voltage segment.

Rogun Hydroelectric Power Plant: A Strategic Energy Investment

The project is closely linked to the development of the Rogun Hydroelectric Power Plant, expected to become one of the key components of Tajikistan’s electricity system.

The plant aims to provide more accessible, reliable, and sustainable electricity to approximately 10 million people. Around 70% of the generated energy is planned to be exported to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Therefore, the project plays a significant role in addressing energy shortages caused by rising demand and in supporting the region’s transition to renewable energy.

Strengthening International High‑Voltage Expertise

Executed through the integrated production and engineering capabilities of Prysmian companies worldwide, the Rogun Project further strengthens Türk Prysmian Kablo’s expertise in high‑voltage solutions on an international scale, reinforcing its position in strategic infrastructure projects across Central Asia.
