Türk Prysmian Kablo CEO Farisè: “Linking Turkey to the Future”
Cinzia Farisè, the Italian CEO of Türk Prysmian Kablo, attended the Turkish-Italian Business People Summit hosted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Farisè made a speech at the summit where new opportunities in Turkey-Italy relations are evaluated, saying they are the leader and the preferred cable supplier industry since 1964, stated that they will continue to develop solutions that create competitive advantage for Turkey with their mission “Linking Turkey to the Future”.
Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized Turkish-Italian Business People Summit on November 27th, 2019. Within the scope of the summit hosted by Italian Ambassador Massimo Gaia, "New Opportunities in the Turkish economy in the light of Turkey-Italy Trade Relations which gained momentum again" forum was organized. Italy-Turkey relations are layed on the table in the forum where Italian Trade and Industry Chamber President Livio Manzini and Italian Foreign Trade and Promotion Agency Istanbul President Riccardo Landi took part as the speakers. Generali Insurance Chairman Mine Ayhan, Ferrero Chocolates Turkey General Manager Azmi Gümüşlüoğlu, Yapı Kredi Bank International and Multinational Companies Banking Director Fabio Bini, Turkey Şişecam Vice Chairman and CEO Ahmet Kirman, Barilla Turkey General Manager and Vice President Piero Mirra and CEO of Türk Prysmian Kablo Cinzia Farisè participated as the speakers to the panel held during the forum.
“Our big challenge is to contribute to the Turkish economy”
Türk Prysmian Kablo’s CEO Cinzia Farisè underlined that they work to add value to Turkish economy, to Turkey’s future with their production power and through their company mission "Linking Turkey to the Future”, by taking place in Turkey's mega projects such as Eurasia Tunnel, Istanbul Airport, Marmaray, but also by investing on the cable industry with their educational initiatives, training programs and their efforts on new generation products and systems development and said “As ‘Turkey's most spending company for R&D’ in the Turkish cable sector, by leading innovation and development in our R&D Center in Mudanya, we continue our investments on new environment-friendly products and systems and continue our activities in a way that will be minimally affected by fluctuations. We produce new generation cables and systems according to the needs of an evolving industry and technology, and to the demand expressed by the communication development in Turkey. In this sense, we are very happy to contribute to the development of many sectors in Turkey and to add value to the domestic and value-added production power and economy of our country with the common synergy we created.”
“We are always ready to do our part to further develop the relations of the two countries”
Cinzia Farisè saying that the government has recently started to promote employment, trade and industry and exports and along with increased competition, a large portion of the cable world began to shift its production to developing countries, also pointed out that Turkey is in a very special position in this respect. Farisè also said “Since Turkey is a country that values production and innovation; Italy, the second largest industrial country in Europe and Turkey always complement each other in the direction of common goals. The biggest reason for the relations getting this close for so many years is this shared synergy and mutual trust. We are always ready to fulfill our mission to develop the relations of the two countries to benefit more both countries.”
“Mudanya produces cable to the world”
Türk Prysmian Kablo, which has made many investments since 1964 to increase its technology and production capacity, can produce 22,000 different cables at its factory in Mudanya. All energy cables up to 220 kV, communication cables with up to 3,600 copper conductors, fiber optic cables and special cables used in industrial applications are also the signature of Türk Prysmian Kablo.
