The online cable training has reached 2,500 people

Online training, which is free of charge for students and academicians, as well as industry professionals such as engineers and technicians working in the field of electricity, contributed to the professional development of the sector during the pandemic period.

The online training project that Türk Prysmian Kablo, Turkish operation of Prysmian Group which is the leader of the energy and telecommunication cable industry worldwide, has implemented in order to make a contribution to the field of cable and the professionals of the industry has been ongoing since 2015. The training which over 2.500 people have benefited so far has the property of being the first online cable training in Turkey.

Open to everyone, from students to engineers

Online Cable Training consists of 8 modules and an exam including basic information regarding cables, the areas of application of cables, material technologies, overall cable structure, fire performance tests, cable and reel utilization, Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and fiber optic cables. The participants passing the exam are entitled to receive a participation certificate after the training. Contribution to sector development with webinars

In addition to the Online Cable Training, Türk Prysmian Kablo shared its expertise and experience with the cable industry during the pandemic period also with the webinars in April and May where it made presentations in different subjects.
