"Turkey showed great example of success"
Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Association President Livio Manzini said, "Turkey showed a great example of success compared to other countries in this outbreak. In this success, the Ministry of Health, the Scientific Committee and the investments of Turkish government in the recent years the field of health have contributed greatly. But the biggest share is in healthcare professionals. Turkish healthcare workers have intensely applied treatment protocols to the cases, ignoring their own lives. I understand the word "Entrust Me to Turkish Doctors" by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who has experienced the Spanish flu."
Manzini stated that Turkey and Italy share a common destiny and added "Turkish citizens living in Italy and Italians in Turkey were protected by both states in this process. Turkey provided serious protective medical equipment to Italy in the early days of the outbreak. With this event that we held together with our valuable stakeholders, we had the opportunity to present our gratitude to Turkish healthcare staff.”
Cinzia Farisè, CEO of Türk Prysmian Kablo said “We provided our fire-safe cables for Sancaktepe Pandemi Hospital and Yeşilköy Pandemi Hospital, and supported a gratitude visit to Cerrahpaşa Hospital, offering lunch to 200 doctors and nurses. Because we are aware of being one of the companies that had and will continue to play a key role in the Country. We are happy to express our gratitude to the healthcare workers in Turkey.”
