Prysmian Group took part in InnoTrans 2018 Fair

The InnoTrans Fair, organized for the fourth time this year, took place in Berlin from 18-21 September 2018 with 3 thousand participants from 119 countries. Prysmian Group, the world’s leading cable company, introduced railway  and Rolling Stock cables at the InnoTrans 2018 Fair. 

Prysmian Group, the worldwide leader of the energy and telecommunication cables sector, introduced its products and technologies in InnoTrans 2018, the largest international fair organized for transportation technologies. At the fair, which has visitors from 199 different countries, Prysmian Group presented its MV, LV, signal, balise, energy and fiber optic cables used in railways and Rolling Stock cables. In the fair where the leading companies of the railway sector are located, Prysmian Group met with great interest from the participants.

3 thousand companies participated in and the latest developments in the sector related to railway technology, infrastructure, public transport and tunnel construction were introduced in InnoTrans 2018, the largest operators and leading companies in the railway sector have exhibited their latest technology products and projects.

International Echo of the success in Turkey

In InnoTrans 2018, Prysmian Group hosted its international partners at its booth, has given information about the latest cable technologies. Türk Prysmian, the Turkish operation of Prysmian Group which always carries its success further with its pioneer works and investments in the sector, has also met with high level officials in InnoTrans 2018. Erkan Aydoğdu, the CEO of Türk Prysmian that is continuing its activities in order to carry Turkish cable sector to the future said that; “Fairs are an important opportunity to meet with sector representatives. In InnoTrans 2018, which is the most important fair in the field of railway works in the world, we have presented our works in detail to the leading companies of the world. As Türk Prysmian, we have an important role in the achievements of Prysmian Group. In the scope of our mission “Linking Turkey to the Future”, we are proud of taking part in important projects in Turkey.” Mert Erden, Türk Prysmian Industrial Sales Director, expressed his thoughts about the attendance to InnoTrans 2018 Fair with these words: “We have exchanged information with the world’s largest operators and leading brands of the sector. InnoTrans 2018, which welcomed visitors from 119 different countries, provided a very convenient environment for our experiences. We, as Türk Prysmian, have come together with both our global and Turkish customers and have conveyed information about the latest cable technologies. At the same time, we had meetings with our customers who came to fair as participants.”

InnoTrans 2018, held in Berlin, Germany, brought together about 3 thousand participant companies in 41 halls. InnoTrans 2018 is holding the qualification of being the largest trade fair all around world in the field of ‘railway’.
