Prysmian Group Turkey has brought life to Ilgaz Tunnel, one of the most important projects of Turkey, with its latest technology cables. Prysmian Group Turkey, which provides special products suitable for all kinds of projects with its wide product range, also worked at the 3rd Airport, Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, Dardanelles Strait Submarine Cable Connection Project and Eurasia Tunnel.
Worldwide leading company in energy and telecommunication cables sector Prysmian Group's Turkey operation Prysmian Group Turkey, brought life to Ilgaz July 15th Independence Tunnel opened to service on December 26 and connecting Central Anatolia to Western Black Sea. The tunnel reduces the travel time of Ilgaz Mountain to 8 minutes, which is passed through about 35 minutes.
In the project, halogen-free energy, weak current, fiber optic and data cables with FE180 feature provided by Prysmian Group Turkey were used. The cables produced by Prysmian Group Turkey for Ilgaz Tunnel are 513 kilometers long.
Among the projects contributed by Prysmian Group Turkey, supplying cable to many similar important projects and supporting many tunnel and metro projects with its differentiated cables are many special projects such as 3rd Airport, Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, Dardanelles Strait Submarine Cable Connection Project, Marmaray, Gerede Tunnels and Eurasia Tunnel.
