Blood Donation from Türk Prysmian Kablo Employees

Türk Prysmian Kablo employees participated in voluntary blood donation activities within the scope of global volunteering strategies. 63 volunteer employees of Türk Prysmian Kablo, with the aim of being hope for thousands of people who are in need of blood, donated blood in Red Crescent blood vessel.

Türk Prysmian Kablo, Turkish operation of worldwide leading company in energy and telecommunication cables industry Prysmian Group, organized a blood donation event within the scope of global volunteering strategies. The Turkish Red Crescent's blood donation vehicle was deployed in front of the Türk Prysmian Kablo's factory in Mudanya during the event, which was organized in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent and served to employees willing to donate blood voluntarily. In the event, 86 people volunteered for blood donation, 63 people were able to donate blood according to blood donation criteria.

“Volunteering strengthens our bond with our employees”

Türk Prysmian Kablo CEO Cinzia Farisè, said that volunteering is an important asset within Prysmian Group and added “Our corporate social responsibility activities become more meaningful when combined with volunteering. Thus, our connection with our employees increases and strengthens. We are happy to be a hope for people who need blood donation in our health institutions and who need blood. “They volunteered for 36 hours in total”

Türk Prysmian Kablo Human Resources Director Aysun Kalmık said that they give priority to corporate social responsibility projects and always produce new projects and added “In order to realize our blood donation activities, our employees volunteered their work for 36 hours in total and carried out a feverish work. Volunteer employees supported and those who were able to donate blood according to blood donation criteria donated blood.
