₺934 Million Energy Infrastructure Project from Türk Prysmian Kablo

Contract Signed for TEİAŞ HKABY.16 Project Türk Prysmian Kablo has signed a contract for TEİAŞ’s HKABY.16 İzmir tender, covering a turnkey high‑voltage cable project consisting of two lots with a total value of ₺934 million. The project includes the supply, construction, installation, and commissioning of high‑voltage XLPE‑insulated underground cables.

As a turnkey solution partner, Türk Prysmian Kablo is taking part in TEİAŞ’s HKABY.16 İzmir Project one of the significant initiatives aimed at strengthening Turkey’s energy transmission infrastructure through a two‑lot contract. The project represents a major infrastructure investment that brings together the company’s manufacturing, engineering, and field execution capabilities in high‑voltage underground cables. 

The project, which will proceed in two lots, includes; Lot 1: Bozyaka GIS SS – Bahribaba GIS SS and Hatay GIS SS – Bozyaka GIS SS lines, Lot 2: Güzelyalı GIS SS – Hatay GIS SS line. Within the scope of the project, Türk Prysmian Kablo will manage all phases from material supply to construction, installation, and commissioning on a turnkey basis. 

Enhanced Safety, Capacity, and Operational Efficiency in Energy Transmission 

The project, with a total value of ₺934.3 million, stands out as a major investment in Turkey’s energy transmission infrastructure. Under the contract signed on January 7, 2026, the work is targeted to be completed within 420 days. 

The project involves the use of a total of 31,500 meters of 154 kV, 1x1600 mm², approximately 756 tons of high‑voltage XLPE‑insulated underground power cable. These cables will contribute to improved safety, increased capacity, and enhanced operational efficiency in energy transmission. 

Covering critical power transmission lines in İzmir, the project will support the modernization of the existing grid infrastructure and help meet the growing energy demand safely. With this project, Türk Prysmian Kablo once again reinforces its position as a leading provider of end‑to‑end solutions in high‑voltage underground cable systems.
